White RS wagon still wearing Radioshack Team decals after the Tour Down Under in Adelaide - spotted in Paddington, Brisbane this morning at about 7.40 heading towards the city.

Probably to be sold as "sat in by Lance Armstrong"..... I did see Lance and his partner being driven in an RS in Adelaide but it was clean of decals and Race Blue ....

Dark Blue pre FL Scout with P plates near the sports ground in Scoresby today. Judging by the sign writing and new number plates I'm guessing that it's been a demo that has just been purchased by a private owner.

Another 3 Skoda's day

Seen three Skodas today. First, I had seen FL Octavia wagon making diesel noises this morning near Fremantle Hospital, then drove to Cottesloe and saw blue Octavia wagon (pre FL I think). Then there was white Octavia parked on the verge. Hmmm, now lets see Skodas in three consecutive days...

Brand new black 2.0L Skoda Superb LWB was being demo'd by my limo driver in Melbourne today. He picked me up from the airport in it and I have to say WOW! What an amazing package... It's just a rebadged VW (DER!) but how do they do it, plus include every luxury you can think of and 1000km a tank (60L tank) for just $51,000 drive away!!??

One slight downer is the same as VWs and that is that it's slightly narrow. Otherwise, it compares directly with limo's that cost $100k-$200k!

That's why the limo guys have stayed away from them. They love everything about the Superb, especially the luggage space, except the fact that they are basically only 4 set vehicles.

White pre-FL Octavia 2.0TDI Wagon sitting out the front of my house this afternoon, rego was close to mine, owner was stopped with the engine on taking on the phone, I heard it and walked outside and had a nice suprise

Friday was a good day. I followed a Blue RS up Drakeford Drive and then saw two pre-FL wagons (red, blue) going the other way on the way to Canberra Uni. We left for the coast around lunch time, and I saw another pre-FL wagon (white) heading the other way. I think four in one day is a record for me.

But now I am really sick. Leaving for work this morning, I noticed that our neighbour diagonally across the street has a silver TSI liftback in the garage. I hadn't noticed before as I've only just started back at work. How come she has one before me?!? Oh well, at least our cars will be able to see each other from their garages. Does anyone else know of two Octavias in the same street?

There is a red Pov pack Octavia Sedan one street over, I used to see it at the Burwood Kmart and since moving house have discovered it there.

Went for a drive down to Cronulla today, saw a few of the terrors.
- Silver FL Octavia Liftback (either a 1.8TSI or 2.0TDI)
- Grey Roomster (it was actually new too - new rego, looked very shiny)
- Race Blue FL Octavia RS Liftback (damn it's stunning with those LEDs *wants one*)

A good day for Skodas, the good news there being that I'm seeing more and more of them!

I'm not sure I like the distinction creeping in here - aren't we all a happy band of Octy owners here, regardless of model/spec ?

And I was wondering if you guys know that it is possible to spec up a "poverty pack" Octy up with so much stuff it costs more than an RS, and has some gadgets that weren't even an option for an RS (at the time I bought mine, anyway).
