Also, the google spreadsheet is a bit of a mess at the moment, but maybe it's me being an excel neatfreak haha. Will fix up the formatting and remove duplicates when I have time over the weekend. I should have been asleep an hour ago. In the meantime I've added some graphical/text bugs i've found.MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |

I'm sure you can appreciate that on the one hand I have to deal with cancellations, and on the other dealing with people asking where their unit is and when is it going to be shipped.
Secondly I have already pointed out that in light of issues with the first 10 units I will allow people to cancel their orders without losing the $100 deposit even though originally this deposit was not refundable by this stage.
I haven't been able to contact the manager at Audiosources all day today but based on everyone's reports it seems pretty clear the screen is resistive. But as I have said, this initial batch already has final hardware, so unless the manager decides to drop another surprise on me, the final production unit which is slated for 12 December, will also have resistive screens.
As for mirroring, I have mentioned previously that Audiosources has developed a module that mirrors both Android and iPhones BUT without the ability to control it via the unit's own screen. I've asked them about future development of a mirroring module that can control the phone via the unit's screen, but the status of that is currently unclear. The originally proposed module was to be able to do this, but would have only been compatible with Android.
Those with GPS signal issues after firmware update, go to your GPS SD directory, in the Primo2 folder, and delete or rename the folder in there named "save". This resets your settings, including GPS baud settings, and allows Primo to rescan for correct values. You do lose settings and personalisations though.
It does appear that the white screen issue may be hardware-related, and we had someone with a seriously faulty unit which is being returned. The rest of the issues are software-related though and will be rectified. I have to admit I have not come across many of the reported software stability issues myself on my sample unit, but I've mostly been using radio and satnav. I have been on several road trips like this (with GPS and radio running) without incident so I assume there is something up with the SD decoding part of the firmware that is causing issues.
To be clear though if you have you are informed of the situation and you want a refund, just send me a message. I don't see why you have to wait. Your previous post said you wanted a refund if you were not receiving your order in the current batch, and I explained that you are, so if you still want to cancel you have to let me know. In any case, all the information is public here, I will be sending a message shortly, and I'll hold off the shipment until Saturday morning.
Have you performed the software update? It's getting a bit hard to keep track. If possible, please post your firmware version when you are describing any software issues. Stability issues were supposed to have been fixed in the latest update, again I have not come across these myself and some others have been saying they do seem fixed. As for GPS signal, please see what I said above in this same post regarding deleting / renaming the "save" folder.

Hmmm, for those with errors while using iGO with the GPS: I think that this is something related to a unit fully working under Windows CE.
I have a chinese unit with 2 sides: radio/bt/sd/ipod... and GPS. The GPS mode is WindowsCE but the other functions are just radio mode, isolated from GPS, actually the GPS is a card with his SirfV module and his RAM memory. With IGo it's normal to get a freeze if you don't configure the sys.txt file properly. Maybe it would improve specifying some parameters. As my unit has just 128MB I have fought a lot with memory issues and white screens of errors.
But it's worthy to say that a 512MB RAM unit should have memory to deal with that! But I should say that this is a little dishonest, because in other units, the RAM memory is just for the Navigator while here is for EVERYTHING. I would have not designed a unit with such an architecture.
Maybe iGo is getting all the memory and collapsing the unit because of some configuration parameter. Try Tomtom or Sygic, whose memory consumption is less, or maybe Sandy could share his sys.txt file so everyone could test with the same parameters (despite of playing big music files). Same experiment would led us to more certain results.
Thinking as an engineer, maybe with WindowsCE you have to free memory and those chinese guys are reserving memory for each music file until the unit crash.
Extra: those are parameters for the sys.txt file for using not much RAM

I have also experienced the excessive load times that Moda and Kwalsh have spoken about where the SD section takes at least 30-40 seconds to open each and every time you go into it from another mode(ie. radio, BT etc.).
Also are you able to tell me why I don't get the AC info up on my screen?

Drove 50km today with GPS, everything works just fine. Reverse camera opens up straight away even on GPS, which was a bug i has in the old firmware where it would take 30s for the rvc to load on nav.MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |

Mine goes the the "Welcome to VW" screen if I press the SD button 2x(for SD Mode) with SD Loading overlay with the little blinking star shaped thing and sits there for a while. If I go to Radio or BT and then back to SD it will do it again. Funny thing is it didn't do it before I flashed it!
I'll try a reset this afternoon after work. Is that just the reset to defaults in the menu options or is there a better way?

The firmware update appears to have corrected the screen dimming. Pressing the button has a noticeable effect on the screen brightness now.
Completely separate note, can anyone recommend somewhere to get a decent skin for igo primo 2.4? (don't know which version y'all got on your SD card, but that's what I sourced.)

As for the skins, I use dimwa or whatever it's called. I just sourced primo 2 from bazzle on fixmygps (who is also a member here), pretty solid/stable. He had some weird **** turned on tho (route summary read outs every 15 mins, so annoying haha), but once you customise it it works brilliantly. The icons on screen are a bit too big for my liking, probably due to the size of the screen, but I'm sure it can be tweaked somewhere.

Either reset via the menu or do the fuse pull. Fuse pull has fixed the CANBUS issues in the past.
Tentatively id say the CANBUS issues are fixed, but who knows yet. Id say those with issues still may have residual bugs from the old firmware, a full reset should help (fuse pull).MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |
