I think that i'll be looking at purchasing this unit at a later date... Would love it now but gotta be sensible as Ive done other mods to the car...

Really looking forward to when it includes Digital Radio and for GPS directions to display on the MFD like the standard unit.

I really hope this isn't going to be released and then shortly after that replaced with another line of headunits built around the module addons that wont be complete before the headunit is released, leaving us having to repurchase another new headunit to get these features.

I hope not. One of the key selling points for me was the ability to add modules in the future to expand the system's capabilities.

My exact concern with the questions I asked around HARDWARE for both additional MFD capabilities and Android MHL "link". Sandy, need you to confirm that these are absolutely going to be part of this unit's specifications. I am not naive enough to think newer models with newer technology will be inevitable in a year or two but.....

Here's a video of the software I got, which was released Friday. I'm told a new one will be released tomorrow. Sorry about how late this came, I had some issue updating my unit (I was doing it wrong, not the unit's problem) and at one point I thought I bricked it...

So there are still some flaws in this version, mainly SD not showing artist / album info, and video controls not yet having been implemented. Note though I played an .mp4 and .avi file both of 720p without issue, and the video is correctly scaled unlike the ANS series and all other head units I've come across. The unit supports up to 1080p video playback.

Sorry about the video quality, it's as good as I can manage on short notice with my phone. I've yet to show BT because well I'm using my phone to record the video, I'll upload a better one hopefully during the day in a couple of days with new software.

I realise this demo may not be the best example but it really showcases the unit's speed - it's very snappy, especially notable throughout the GPS software. I promise I'll make a better one, but right now I'm dead tired and I'm off to bed. I'll keep everyone posted about that second demo I'll make.

You didn't show the blue tooth. .but can you confirm it works? And does it show info in the mdf steering wheel?
