If the ignition is left on, outside lights stay on, so I turn the ignition off to ensure the battery doesn't drain as much. The sound stays on – but only for about 30 minutes....

Hi.. I'm trying to open the door GOLF R 2019 MK7.5 via hidden key hole but nothing happens when I turn the key.
No latching noise, no resistance when I turn the key.

But with remote key it opens without any problem

Is there hidden trick to this?

Broke the folding key part off the fob the other day and had to resort to the manual spare key {could not find the second fob DOH ! } So been using the spare key for the last few days and then this morning the actual barrel just decided it would not turn , no matter what I did jiggling the key turning...

Wifey called from the shops, car will not turn off. They key is stuck, can turn forward to starting position but not back to off position.

I'm guessing a new ignition barrel is needed, but what about matching keys etc
Anyone got any idea on a permanent fix ?

Has me stumped!!! EPB works - you can always hear it close/open when you press the button!

Now, I've checked this for several weeks in a row now to be 100% sure, and without exception, the EPB amber warning light will only come on when I make a left-hand turn!!!???...

Just after starting the car this morning and cruising down my street a message came up in the cluster 'Apply Brake'. I did this and the car shut off. I had to put the car in P, turn off the car and turn on again. Fired up straight away and error gone, thankfully not a busy road and no other cars about....

Driving today, turning at an intersection, hear an audible click that came from the steering wheel like a rubber band snapping sound. Instant airbag error, no front assist and start stop error. Didn’t go away after a turn off or turn on, also there hours later.

Am I terribly unlucky...

Has anyone tried to remove a front mud guard from a MK2 Octavia. I've removed all the screws & nuts but looks like the top of the guard is Sikaflexed to some brackets that are in turn pop riveted to the body in a position where you can't drill them out. Looking for someones experience or suggestions.Cheers...

Hey folks, I've picked up an S3 and one thing that I'm not used to anymore is having to manually apply the handbrake when I'm parking. In my Tiguan it does it automatically when I turn the engine off. I'm wondering if any one knows if it's possible to enable the same behavior with ODB11?
