My steering is getting fairly grindy and after replacing inner and outer ties rods, now realise that I need another rack....

Anyone know if there would be a rack sitting on a shelf , in a shed somewhere or maybe a rebuild option?
I'm thinking GTI rack is exact...

Its been happening for about the last 6 months that the doors will automatically lock when the car is turned off.
