Have a 2009 Passat CC with RLS ( rain light sensor ) module.

Is it possible to use the intermittent function on the wiper stalk and by bypassing the RLS sensor G397.


Since I had a windscreen replacement , non vw , the intermittent / rain sensing wiper does not work...

i have a 1997 2.5l Petrol T4 that has been having intermittent cut out issues. Hard starting, dieing while running, you name it.

im looking for a repairer who knows their stuff on ideally the GC or Brisbane that I can get it towed to.

if anyone has reccomendations...

My Mk5 R32 has started throwing the above error codes and yesterday illuminated the check engine light. Anybody had experience with these codes or know common things I should be checking? The car still drives fine but does seem to stumble a bit on startups so it doesn't seem too serious.

Only lasted a second, felt like it slipped to neutral, I feather touched the accelerator and things were fine again.

Thanks for the add on this forum. I've been told there are 4 O2 sensors and some of them are playing up.

The error codes:
P0430 - Catalyst system, Bank 2 Efficiency below threshold lower limit not reached (Intermittent)...

I had an intermittent rattle that would come from the drivers side suspension. This also caused a slight clunk when reserving cold start on a decline (not DSG noises).

It was hard to replicate but I was lucky enough to show a VW Tech and they fixed it.

Steps I took to replicate....

17831 - Secondary Air Injection System; Bank 1
P1423 - 35-10 - Insufficient Flow - Intermittent
16555 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1
P0171 - 35-10 - System Too Lean - Intermittent

I've got a very intermittent issue going on with my MY14 Polo GTI.

In the past year it's happened on maybe around 3 occasions, but over the last week in particular its now happened twice.

Hoping someone may know the cure; i doubt VW will be able to diagnose...

My A4 has a really harsh misfire under load sometimes, other times it accelerates smoothly.
Could it be a boost leak, ignition failure, fuel starvation?
I have scanned it on a obdeleven, no codes.

As the title suggests, the brakes have started to shudder on occasion, at other times they are perfectly smooth. The shudder is not speed dependant. Would the discs be the problem or should I look at other components?
