You should bring it out to lakeside in October to see how it goes in a more spirited driving environment.

I just pulled up at Jimmy's as you drove off, good to see it on the street again. And a simple fix. PS you left a box of bits there.

So got my car back after I though the wavetrack blew. Turns out it was just the driver side driveshaft, completely destroyed the inner cv. Fresh one in and all good, big thanks the Jmac for spotting before he pulled the box out! Might have to look at a set of raxles if I keep braking them. Also decided to have another crack at some centre caps for the driftteks, please excuse the brake dust covered wheel

Really gave me a fresh perspective, and more drive to get this car sorted, really want to hit the 1/4 mile when it's ready. What's the fasted ET a 1.8t has done in Australia?

Soooo... that 1/4 mile... hows it going for you??

Found another photo from the battle of the brands, couldn't resist the urge to whore it out

Plastidip has since been removed, the brake dust was impossible to clean off them

Hey mate, new gearbox is awesome!! Even stone cold the things shifts smooth as butter. I think it's got redline something-or-other atm, Jmac knows what's in there. Still on base file unfortunately, things keep on getting in the way of doing the final tune, though it spins all the way to 110km/hr now that the hardware is sorted, even with the LSD. I don't think a 1/4 mile/ dyno sheet is too far away. Just got an r32 front sway bar too so hopefully my drive shafts will stop being such good friends with my stock sway bar

Dude, so fustrating! Don't think I'll be going near them ever again lol. Thought I had it so many times and then turn the engine on and bam, pedal to the floor
Oh and if all VAGs in Brisbane could stop breaking so Jmac can fix my car that'd be great, cheers.

Not really, gearbox is being couriered up today so should be here by the end of the week, hopefully jimmy can fit me in soon. I went to start it last night but battery was flat, that was depressing haha
