So I got the cts fmic on Thursday. Had the go about modifying the charge piping a little but nothing too serious, had the boys at 999 automotive weld it up for me and I'm really happy how it turned out.

2" piping next to the 2.5"

It's a lot harder trying to fit 2.5" piping in there!

    ... Almost there....

Some awsome branding that no one will ever see

Back together and going for a test drive

Was dark by the time I got the bumper on

I moved the core about an inch down from where it's supposed to mount so it'd fill the bumper and get more are flow so some of the pipes were a bit tough to fit, especially on the cold side but I'm pretty happy with it. butt dyno says it works, even in 35 degree heat it didn't have a hint of heat soak (neither did the PWR core to be fair), seems to have free'd a few extra ponies with the larger piping though.

done a few little things while I'm on holidays. Painted the 034 engine cover wrinkle black and re-wrapped the to part of the downpipe..

And today I did an oil and filter change, check the oil pump pickup while I was down there, all looked sweet..

Sooo been a while between updates. Not much has been going on, she had been running sweet. Getting a bit sick of looking at my bumper not fitting right so I have decided to ditch the pwr core and buy the cts fmic kit, the core is about 20mm thinner so should fit a lot better and the pipes do look pretty.

Also had some spare time yesterday so I decided remove the afe intake and fit something a bit smaller. Found a pod sheild at autobahn that fit perfectly over my 3" k&n, just had to make space for the icm

Went to bunnings to get a bracket haha

    And installed

Not much to update... Taken it down the coast a few times, and did a run up my nebo last weekend, had run faultlessly also got a gfb diverter valve as my eBay special was leaking above 15psi also re-arranged the pipes a bit to hide the dv under the charge piping more a beater look. Pics for clicks...

    Tight fit but nothing rubs

Yeah that's what I did but it still didn't want to move very far. Oh well, new mounts do feel great except when idling, then everything shakes haha.

So I installed the VF mounts yesterday, all went smoothly except my engine was a bit off centre

Managed to wrestle it mostly back into place. This is where it ended up

Might get Jmac to see if he can get it sitting any better when it goes in for a clutch.

Then today I installed the black intake manifold and changed valve cover gaskets.
