Proper base file now loaded to the Golf, I reckon it goes well.
I'll let Lito tell the tale with more words. Turns out what we thought to be an oil leak off the oil drain, is in fact a water leak off the coolant drain.
Really smooth driving in traffic, still picks up better than a standard GTI when off boost.
A bit hard to get to but small enough to not be worry immediately.

Was great to see u guys today, the car and the nice effort, very pleased that this has been done, Carlos i wasnt game to ask for a drive just yet till you are happy with tunes etc and leaks etc, and i had zero time , glad i managed to squeeze a bit of time in though.

haha.....well i actually "fixed" it, ghetto style. i sewed the two 'halves together, pricked myself a few times along the way. but i think it worked because i now have an extra inch in vacuum and the pedal no longer goes stiff as soon as i shut the car down.... probably should replace it though, i don't know the load rating of the threadOriginally posted by h100vw View PostMy eyes are older than yours mate.....
