You're right. That is an absolute disaster waiting to happen. The wheel mounting surface must be dead flat to ensure consistent torque of the wheel bolts. Standard washers will deviate in diameter by up to 1mm and this will only be made worse by using varying amounts of epoxy to secure them.
There is very real potential for the bolts to work their way loose with a setup like this!! Scary
Thanks for the advice ill take em off and try and work out another way to remove the gap between the spacer and the wheel or worse case get another set that fits better

take your wheels and spacers to Ajax in Moorabbin.
They can machine the centre bore of the wheel to mate to the spacer properly. Shouldnt cost much more than $50/wheel
car looked good at DOVW, good to meet you as well even it it was briefly.
washers are a bit dodgy hate to say it, do as the others said and get some of the wheel machined back a touch, just make sure itll still be sweet for when you run the wheels without the spacers...

Thanks Dylan yeah i should only need to make a small adjustment to make them fit with or without the spacers.
On another note i got these today, i ordered these and the tip before dovw and wanted them on the car for the day but the shipping for both has taken ages.
Should have them on this weekend

Thanks dude.
re the wiper delete, Its fine when it rains while your driving as the water wont really hit it much, its only if its been parked in the rain for a bit and the water builds up its a bit hard to see, but no worse than it been dirty or driving a sedan with no rear wiper.
After a few drives in the rain to get use to it I don't really notice not having it, and I never really used it when I had it on anyway

Nice one, I agree while its subtle it adds that little extra touch that just finishes the badge off

Anyone ever tried to put a red light behind the badge?
Or whatever colour...
It wouldn't be to hard but I wouldn't know what VicRoads would say about it or the cops, I just want it to be something that is noticed if your looking at the car awhile.
