Ive gone through so many DIYs and its just not quite the same but no good photos of the path through the firewall, think im going to try and pass it down with the bonnet release cable, any ideas guys?
I passed mine through the bonnet release cable it's easy once you take off the weather stripping from the windscreen, the hardest part is getting that damn gromet back in, I gave up 3 times before finally fluking it back in with the aid of a screwdriver. White mk4 Gtis are so hot, rare as though. Also, I wouldn't bother with replacing the pancake pipe, I had a good look at mine when I got my fmic installed, they really aren't that restrictive. Plus the replacements rub on the wheel at full lock.
Found a great deal on a Remus muffler with twin tips and had it installed the other day.
At the same time I got the guy to remove the middle muffler as reading around here it seems like the thing to do.
The guy told me that it would not give me any real performance increase but would give it a better sound which was what it was aiming for so it would be ready for the downpipe and CAT.
But I'm now not happy with the performance of the car check out the thread below, any help would be great.
Well haven't been on here for awhile but I've still been working on the car.
Since the last post:
Ive replaced the old N75 valve with the N75 J version,
I swapped the Turbosmart DV with a new APR one,
I have a short ram intake ,
I have cleaned and checked for leaks all the intake pipes and intercooler (What a job).
De-greased the valve cover and just general engine bay cleaning
Now I have a set of mk4 R32 headlights on there way for this weekend, they are going to look real nice can wait to fit them, I found them after some a-hole smashed my passenger side front glass lens at a carpark (No note left), so if i had to replace one then i should do both? so i figured might as well do the hole lot.
Heres some pics of the valve cover

I'll post some pics when I have the new lights in.

Was just playing with the photos, and now I really want to do this.
I have looked into Coilovers before, and was looking at Koni but is there a good cheaper alternative, the Koni were going to be fitted for $2800 which is a bit steep for me at the moment, so has anyone in VIC had anything installed for less?? but is still a good ride?.
