Quick post to show the new intake setup. Its a 4" Pod and pipe tapering down to the 3" MAF housing. Gave it a coating of paint too. Quite surprised actually, under light throttle the intake isn't very noticeable, but makes a mighty noise under WOT
Easter time calls for some sort of project, even if it is a small one.
Painted the front and rear badges gloss black, plus the little strip that sits along the the bottom of the top grill. Also painted the middle piece of the rear badge so it doesn't look like one big black circle.
goes good mate how you got so much grip hahaha what tyres you running
Thanks dude!
That's feathering the throttle in 1st and 2nd and changing normally to keep the grip level there. I'm running Federal 595 RSR's and I must admit they have been bloody good so far. My old tyres (just cheapies), would just free spin everywhere up until 3rd even on perfect road. It'll still do the same thing now if your not careful but you can be a lot more aggressive then the old setup.
Yeah, I thought that your throttle control was great. Car is much slower if you just plant it in first.
It's the last few seconds of the video at the top of 2nd and when you hit third which really shows the difference between stage 2 and 3.

Thanks matey! Yup, thats where you notice the difference mainly. Top of 2nd and 3rd onwards is where I found the standard turbo ran out of puff a bit. In comparison to other cars that's where I lacked too, but now with the stronger top end it holds its own against the bigger fellas.
No update, just a bit of fun this morning doing some laps with the "Torque Time" group. Was a lot of fun, some very very quick cars out there, but heres a video of some of the cars I raced.
I know that 3.9 Magna, he just posted that video up on one of the Mitsubishi fb pages...gives a really good indication of the pace of that polo! Nice work!!

Yeah I know, have read bits and pieces and spoken to him about that car. I have a supercharged Magna myself, so have seen that car and his previous ones on various posts. I can just imagine the various faces people pull as they're getting blown away by a polo haha

Yeah he mentioned that to me. I'd imagine your Magna would be handful!
Yup, there were a few laughing passengers and not so happy drivers.
