Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I wonder if there's a newer version of the flash application from Unitronics? Out of the car the ECU responds differently to OBD using C-C application. You tell the app to ignore the state of the ECU (best description I can come up with)

Honestly the ME7 seems really hard to break permanently. Just takes time.

Hi Guys,
Apologize for late update as progress after FT21 kits installation is getting slower and slower because of the ECU reflash issues. For some reasons, my ME7.5 ECU is being locked from any software from reading/writing onto it including local Unitronic (slave copy), Dimsport and DNA Tune. Here're my probable options to move on:
1. Courier ECU to Unitronic CA to get it "unlocked" and remap to stg2+
2. Send to official VW service centre and get it reflash to stock.
3. Dismantle the ECU and replace the "chip" manually.
4. Go for standalone and the likes of Syvecs S6 ECU offers more in-depth parameters tuneability. The most expensive options (about MYR10-11k), might requires new ignition like MSD and not really P&P kit.
Nevertheless, I'm going to keep on trying to get it resolved soon, one way or another. In the meanwhile, I've unplugged the MAF sensor to overcome rough idling and lean issues. Here's the recent baseline dyno figures based on stock injector reflected in "red" vs stock k03s setup in "blue":
There's a huge shortfall I need to recoup. Might not be just the remap, I would think it might be something to do with sensors like MAF, N75 and even boost etc. Oh well

Sorry to hear this mate. Can you get your hands on a VAGCOM cable to do some logging. Would narrow things down greatly before deciding on your tuning options.
Then out of your options (and yes I'm totally bias) I would be talking with the Asian Custom Code dealer in Singapore first. See if he can flash over it with a CC tune. If not flash it back to standard then load a Stage III base file on it and send it back to you to do your own logging via VAGCOM. Then email the files back to him until he's happy then send the ECU back for the final tune if required.
Then smile all the way to the Dyno
