Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Sorry for late reply as I was bugged with lots of work at the office. The car is now running a little bit better after iron out wiring issues causing 6 sensors to caused CEL. Still waiting for FT specific map file from Unitronic (coming to 3 weeks now)...

The map needs to be scaled for the big MAF, or it'll run weak as hell. I would run bigger injectors and 3 BAR over the 4 BAR, personally. Don't forget that as the boost increases, fuel pressure rises to compensate. So eventually it'll be supplying 5.5BAR which would be 1.5 over what VW intended for the stock pump.
We won't tune without an S3/uprated fuel pump onboard. Besides the risk of blowups, it can waste lots of time tuning while you work out why it's always lean.
USRT do a Genesis drop in that isn't quite a drop in but works fine.
APR use a 4 BAR and std pump with their K04 but the majority of those I imagine, would have been on fairly new cars. There would have to be a point where the pump begins to degrade. I won't be looking to find that point

Now you've made me realized that I've been abandoning the importance of fuel pump. Could you share the link of that Genesis fuel pump? Thanks.

Genesis Mk4 High-Flow Intank Pump : USRT, Usually Sideways Rally Team
It's obviously the std pump from something else but they have taken a grinder to the part number.
ECS sell the APR one.
Go through my thread to see what you need to do to fit it. The Polo and Golf have a couple of differences in teh basket.

Is there any possible reasons why this thing happened? Fried ECU or relay or cables?
1. Via In-Car OBD2 port: Uni software couldn't detect ECU profile. ECU ID / Number : 06A906032TL | 261208950
ECU Revision / Software # : 0040 | 1037378104
2. Via On Bench: 1) Uni software able to detect the ECU profile
2) Able to download stg2+ map from Uni website and save it on the PC.
3) Encounter error during uploading the map to the ECU (can't remember what error message is though...)
Notes: There's no problem in performing diagnostic checks using VCDS software (via in-car OBD2 and On-Bench) and the engine is running without CEL (or any other error codes).Last edited by firdausasri; 18-05-2013, 08:43 PM.

If you can still connect with VCDS there's probably nothing wrong with the ECU. I have had my immo defeat ECU disappear completely off VCDS and recovered it after a bit of persistence. You already have Unitronic, correct?
