Flattened one of my tyres this morning after hitting a gutter doing a quick angry U-Turn at 4.30am trying to find a park near work
If anyone noticed a silver GTI on Sturt St. Southbank just outside the SES, with a busted looking tyre, that was me

Installed a sub and amp in the Polo last night. Custom install on the amp retaining all the factory tools and all items/wiring hidden.

That's a tidy looking installation, and a novel idea. How does it sound?
And where does the toolkit live, now?

Sub sits in the boot as normal and sounds great, fills in the bass the factory speakers lack.

The jack sits under the wooden plate, you can see the top of it sticking through the hole we've cut out so its doesn't move around, etc and the other tools sit off to the side. The plate also allows for all the wires to be moved very quickly if you ever did need access to the spare it is not compromised at all.

Went for an awesome drive up to Mt Panorama via Goulburn and Oberon with the boys from the Canberra vw Owners Group. Checked out the museum, and cut a few fat laps of the circuit, and also got an insight into the tracks future and what might be racing there in the next few years from the circuits director...

Left at 8am this morning, then got there about 11.30, and did about 600km for the day. The car was loving the cold, dense air too, and was boosting quite nicely...
