Well I got to Brissy. I had a good run of about 15hrs. Took just over 2 tanks and averaged 7.9/100km. A bit of rain and the cooler air bought the consumption down in the last couple of hundred kilometers.
Jimmy, I'm looking forward to catching up and getting those bushes done. The left one is definitely shot.

Ordered Whiteline front and rear bush kits and rear sway bar. Hoping to get them fitted tomorrow. Fingers crossed it makes a noticeable difference on top of the Bilstein B8's and H&R springs.

Haha, yep. I'll be trying to make it to SEDF and VW Nationals next year depending on work.

I'm getting my solid front end bushes fitted tomorrow, so that should be good.

Finally completed my 2800km drive from Townsville to my new home in Canberra. Along the way I got the car reflashed and had the Cupra front bushes installed in Brisbane. I now don't have the front wheels scraping the inner guards as I was having with the flogged out stock bushes.
I now have a couple of small repairs I have to do. Reattaching the center section of my front lip as the screws pulled through when I nailed a monster pothole in central Qld, and fixing a scrape on one of my wheels after negotiating a tight corner in Brisbane CBD... And a good wash and detail too!!

Got new tyres fitted today. Toyo proxes 4s. Long story post on the official polo tyre thread. Short story, these aren't exact what i wanted, need some getting use to.
