I will most likely take them back this Sat, and go with Dunlop Sports Maxx TT for only $65 extra as they are 25%off at the moment, these Toyo's are in a complete different league.
Tidied up the BMC OTA setup and been thinking about whether to go Miltek resonated or non-resonated system or remus muffer only since I already have the APR downpipe. Any suggestions?
Yeah ever since I've been in vwthunder's car, KO4's really popping up high in the priority list after the exhaust. Gotta somehow make my car faster than his. LOL. Just imagine 2 insane polos tearing through Melb road (on private road that is he he he). But gotta pay off the credit cards first.
Changed both tail lights. Only one burnt out, but my OCD won't allow me to have odd bulbs.
I was checking the forum on how to do it. All I found was how to remove the entire housing. I thought, FFS, I just want to change a light, not remove the entire thing. So I opened the hatch and noticed a wing style bolt. Uh-oh. I came back inside and checked the thread on how to remove the housing. Hahaha.. are you kidding me? I have to remove the whole thing to change a bulb? Argh! I was more annoyed that I knew I had to change both and since there's a bunch of dust in there too, well, I can't just leave it dirty, can I? So I cleaned them all up. Now the lights looked too shiny compared to the rest of the dirty car, can't leave it like that, can I? .... well, since I'm here, I may as well wash it....oh, and I haven't cleaned the engine bay in a while.... or vacuumed..... FFFFUUUUUU!!
So a simple job that should've taken only 10 minutes, ended up lasting 5 hours.
As it's been so hot here, I got up at 6am and gave the new car a treat of clay bar, polish and wax of the roof and bonnet before I was too hot to continue. Looks much better than the scratched car I bought on Xmas eve! I'll still take it to GaragePro for a professional detail in the new year. Dark metallic blue looks beautiful when clean & shiny but I swear it looks dirty faster than black!
Can' decide whether to treat myself to a new stereo in the sales.
Any thoughts on a Kenwood DDX5036 ?
