Got the beasty serviced for the first time 15000km

$310 all up, 2 new front discs under warranty (warped), passanger seat fixed so it now pulls forward.

Anyone know what 5051 fault is??

pretty pleased with it all was super speedy was done in like 3 hours, thought the loan car was a dud though... Golf TDI
Once the DSG got use to me thrashing it was alright but god couldn't drive that all the time, take off is great but there is no feel to it and the accelerator pedal might aswell just be an on an off switch.

Also booked in on the 20th at Volkspower to get my springs and dogbone mount fitted aswell as get V2... figure if I stick to suspension mods I might be able to ward off getting that last point and losing my licence...haha probably not.

so am I, i mangeled the brakes in the lancer in the first 3 months and got denied warranty cos they said its a consumable (didn't use that word but you know what I mean) figured I'd have to fight to get it done... not a peep out of them

WTF are you doing to warp the brakes that badly in 15,000km's???? Washing the car when hot can do this but geez I think you need to adjust your driving style

started when some dude rear ended my car and just got worse
over time, but yeah abuse was probably a factor too

I'll be going for a drive up MT highway soon just got my RSB in the mail this morning.... think I should of kept the warped discs to myself though
do you think I can get an new set for free again at my next service??

If they were dumb enough to give them to you the first time. It wouldnt supprise me.

Maybe they will give you new calipers and pads just incase that was a cause??

No pics, but its all front end...nothing structural...Front bar, grill, bonnet, A/C condenser and radiator, plus some minor things....All my fault, so no one to be pissed at but myself...

no good man, sorry to hear that. i'm guessing thats the reason for the sale of the big day out ticket.

hope it all gets sorted quick smart for you. not the best time of the year for crashing a car, hard to get anything done late december!
