Had another Mac Attack today Jimmy kindly installed my dogbone mount and gave the box the Redline treatment!

Verdict - gear changes feel like I paid 3 times as much for the car!

Ok guys, its MTL, which is 70W80 All Synthetic. Redline MTL extends life of Syncros 50% and is guranteed for up to 400,000ks!!!! It has an awesome coefficient of friction which is tops for rapid gear shift, reduces whine and rattles and thats a given. MT-90 is thicker of course and may be a suggested oil for the likes of high K Vr6s and the likes with an 02A box, i would use this in an 020 as well.

Kumho Ecsta SPT 205/40ZR17/84YXL the car does feel a bit differant but cant put my finger on it. not really better or worse just differant. yeah right after i finally get that rudd payment ill organise that group buy for the fmic. then suspension will be soon to follow.

hey man the lenzos are always a good choice- nice work.

what are you gonna do for suspension? mine is horrific- its OKAY on fast road map but on race, it just sags too much. and i hate the roll.

i cant remember do you have stock suspension scotty?
i think gti dave is organising a group buy, i was going to buy some b12 bilsteins through him after i get the krud payment and order the group buy for the forge fmic.

im afraid im on stock suspension at the moment. the only saving grace i have is good tires (bf goodrich g-force) otherwise my chip would be utterly useless.

I finally put in my aftermarket FK Automotive tailights. They came incorrectly wired. Rpent $160 for an auto electrician to re-wire. They let water in, had to spend $10 on sealent........oh dear..oh well I got there in the end and well
i really like the look of them.

Hard to really see from your photo but they do look quite awesome over the stock tailights. I actually can't believe how much it makes your car look like a golf from behind!

I charged the battery because after 2 months of not driving the Polo it had a flat battery. Boot full of mods are collecting dust

I've got a supply of both Redline MTL (70W80) and MT90 (75W90). Which do you recommend for the Polo GTI box? Is one better than the other to ease hard shifting, or will either do?
