Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Busted tyre
Went to get the tyre checked (the one that went flat the other day) and its busted. When they inflated it the bulge showed up and there is a nice tear in the side wall. Anyone getting rid of their contis? Thinking of finding one with some life in it to keep it going until i change the wheels and tyres in the near future.
I also got the wheels aligned while i was there but their computer didnt have any POLO 9n specs on it and i dont feel much difference after the alignment has been done.

spare tyre is already on and it was its first time on the road. I'm trying to find a used conti (or any other if i cant find a conti) that would last me until i change the whole set. I hope i can find one soon as i don't want to run without a spare for too long.
