Today I did the whole SAI system delete. It was fairly straight forward except for removing the combi valve and installing the blanking plate. Access is tight. Lost a fair bit of coolant so I will need to get some more tomorrow.
Also replaced the coolant temp sensor at the same time as it hasn't been working for some time.

Nice. I’m planning to do that next weekend. So no CEL yet?
First Wakefield day with the apr stage 1 and coilovers. Managed to knock a couple of seconds of my previous PB, and there is still a bit in it I reckon.
Tried to install a oversize TIP on the weekend... couldn't get it to fit in place. I had the coolant pipes loose and the 3 bolts for the gearbox cable guide out but still wouldn't fit in place. Also trimmed some off the turbo side of the pipe to help. Beyond my DIY skills.

that is a big fat sucker.... and like the one I installed recently it looks about 2" too short. I cut mine in half and extended it with a bit of metal pipe
