Opened the bonnet. Looked at the coolant level, way below the min line. Sighed.

Got to move house first, coolant leak will have to wait.

Nice, can you do a build thread or do you have any info on your car.
What do you have in terms of suspension setup ?

I really should put together a build thread one day, just to keep track of what's been done to the car...

Suspension-wise I'm running Bilstein PSS9 adjustable coil overs - though to be honest I have only turned them from their hardest setting on a couple of occasions in the last 4 years. Also have the obligatory adjustable rear sway bar.

The other major mods are the K04 turbo with APR tune, LSD, FMIC, custom air filter / intake / relocated battery, lighter flywheel and upgraded clutch, custom 3" turbo-back exhaust, APR engine mounts, 323mm slotted Brembos at the front with horribly squealy but fade resistant Ferodo pads. Oh, and most of the interior trim is sitting in my garage somewhere.

Now that I've decided to keep the Polo mainly for the track I'll be looking to install a roll cage and replace the standard seats with decent racing shells and harnesses, and of course keep chasing lightness and more power.

lol yeah i did the same. saved about $50 being on special!
nothing too crash hot for me, just some RDA discs and Remsa pads for the front. I just want to get rid of that horrible scraping noise from my knackered stock discs!!!!!!

Didn't do anything other than give it a quick vacuum, but I did get these goodies in the post a few days ago:

• Front anti-roll bar drop links
• Front lower control arm front bushes
• Front lower control arm rear bushes
• Front suspension strut mount bearings

Keen to get them on - just have to work out how hard the front lower control arms are to remove!

Edit: that now adds to my bought-but-not-fitted stash of ECS S1 clutch and Redline MT90.

Finally received my front brakes. Fitting them tomorrow. Should be able to stop without them crunching along anymore
