im loving the VALET MODE. no boost n rpm limited to 4200rpm and its super slow too LOL stalled several times
Yeah Valet Mode is great, not fun when you're trying to put it back in stock and you acciedently put in valet then drive off and get stuck going up a steep bridge where you hold up traffic for a few blocks till you can finally pull over and switch

Changed oil and filter. What a drama filter was on very very tight!( First change from factory). Cleaned inside of wheels and rotated. Installed LED strips instead of factory fog lights (still not sure if i like them yet) and cut and installed vent on inner guard for intercooler. Will post pics soon.
Got APR engine mount installed today at my mechanic's place. 10 min job.
Top stuff, now the notchy 1st to 2nd gear shift is mostly gone. Very minimal idle shake, only get notice by my crappy boost gauge holder which shows the vibrations... but not too bad othewise. Highly recommended.

only a 10min job? I thought they need to take it out and stuff..

you do, but that only involves a 16mm socket and ratchet, and removing 3 bolts, the pressing out the standard Torque Arm Bush on an Abour Press or in a vice, then pressing in the new Torque Arm Bush, then putting the Torque Arm back on the car. 10 minute job if you have the equipment to do it.

Yeah my mechanic had all the right tools, and a pipe thing that was perfect size to push the original bush out, and replace with the new one. He is not a VW mechanic but a real good one too. So was very very quick.

the only excuses i'd expect for not driving the car for that long are if you went away, got some major work done on the car or you were on a one week bender. i'm hoping Lora, it was option 2......or 3 !

drove all around Wiseman Ferry today... (140km, Not bad did 6.8L/100km on average) ON the way back saw a WHITE Pogti!!!!
as you can see i've installed the glossy pillars
just a question, when am i getting the REGO from RTA? or will I have the white paper rego that i got on the windscreen at the moment?
If I get time on the weekend I will start on my rear badge.
Did you do the inside bit first?
I took the thing apart thinking that the inside bit is flat, but infact it actually has alot of grooves and edges to hold the top bit. End up just getting spray paint to paint it on.
But if you were to just spray paint it, i wouldn't bother taking the two pieces apart, as it's messy glueing it back together.
PoloGTi - The rear badge took abit longer then i expected, and it was quite time consuming. One thing i couldnt get it all off was the original glue that stuck the badge with it. But that didn't bother me too much, as it'll just be covered by the badge. I used 3m heavy duty double sided tape to put it back.
