What did you do to your Polo today?

Bought a replacement battery cover cause mine was missing when I got the car.

Even though I quoted the VIN, and the dealer sourced the appropriate part, it doesn't fit

Now that's just weird ... I was told by my dealer that the Polo GTI didn't come with a battery cover when I asked.

The real early polos came with battery covers. (November 05 to March 06 ish) They wont fit the current battery setup..

Hey don't worry about it. Just before I bought my GTI I took my 06 lancer in to mitsubishi for it's 15000km service (my sister was getting it and i wanted it to be all sorted so she didn't have to do it), and it cost me $540.00! I thought mitsubishi's were sposed to be cheap to service. It's actually going to be cheaper to have the polo serviced when I'm paying those prices!!

I got red pinstripes added to my black bonnet, and added a new sticker to the rear. Also added my short antenna and Dash Cubby on Thursday.

god damn you Ryan, you beat me to it. i have been in contact with PoloGTi getting some details on the stripes as he has had them for a couple of years now. i was looking at getting them done next weekend. how much did they cost you and what sort of shop does this work (panelbeater, signwriter)??

Got it done up here at Sign City here in Darwin. Cost me $70. A bit steep, but they were the only ones up here that could get me in, and even that was at a stretch.
