Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.             matt vinyl I did it myself thats why if you look at it closesly it looks like ****

            was suppose to do more but kept messing it up, now just looking for a pro installer to do it for me.

              Ordered Throttle body hose and TIP. Ordering hose clamps (need ones with solid backing so they don't eat the hose)

              Dash cubby just arrived, going to fit now.

              Looking forward to the TIP install as likely one of my final mods before I stop playing with the Pog or get it retuned in the coming months.

                Yeah, fair enough. Look forward to that, I reckon it looks awesome on black.

                Took my car in for its first service yesterday, found a crack in the fuel line so I don't get her back until Monday. I've got a Jetta TDI for the weekend as a courtesy; not a bad drive to be honest.

                      Wow that's crazy, I've lost on in over 80,000kms of driving. No track staff but some very hard mountain driving.

                      I ended up purchasing the ones off eBay and they're fine

                        Heh, that's the funny thing, I've only ever lost them from day to day suburban driving. Did one spirited mountain drive and never lost one then.

                        But yeah, I'm using the ebay ones now

                          Do i win a prize for losing 8 in 50,00km. but most of them are due to track days and spirited driving. in the end ive just left them off

                            Fitted to the car the little alloy VW caps on the tire valves, and VW seat belt shoulder cushions.

                            Figure ive picked up about 15-20bhp.

                                fixed a puncture in one of the tyres

                                did an oil change and flogged the guts out of it.

                                to do list: take out the front struts and re-assemble.
