    • I cleaned off muddy, HUMAN foot prints that ran up from the bonnet over the roof. I was a pretty angry man, but luckily there was no damage done. Don't park your car overnight on the street in Echuca.

      • I spent this morning polishing the new scratches on the car thanks to parking it in the 'Underwater world' carpark up on the sunshine coast.

I'll be glad the day we get 100% scratch proof paint!

I was parked in Echuca over the weekend. Fortunately I've never had that problem.

                  • Got a black front badge last week, and today got a custom muffler fitted. Muffler is Hurricane, with dual tips - the tips are exactly the same style as stock just larger (3in), so it fills the hole in the bumper nicely.

Its loud and has a lovely burble at idle, but does not drone inside, which is what I wanted.

I'll post some pics tomorrow after a wash

                      • I put my 10mm spacers on the rear, looks heeeeapps better, HOWEVER..... it's seems that the drivers side is sticking out ever so slightly more than the passenger. Really weird. It wouldn't be the spacers as I lined them up and they are perfect. Maybe my wheels are actually a different offset than stated??

Anyway, I took it for a quick strap and it's amazing how much difference just an extra 10mm each side of the car makes. Handling feels a lot flatter through corners, really stoked!

p.s. thanks Costa for the spacers!

Same one as Eos and MK5, according to the TMTuning site.

                              • Today I spent today cursing after changing the oil and realising the mechanic who last serviced it slightly threaded the sump nut bolt. Now my poor baby is leaking a little oil from the sump nut and will likely need the sump retapped as the crush nut just isn't sealing it up enough to stop the leak
