  • SEAT LEON CUPRA R Lower Front Mount Intercooler Kit | eBay

That looks pretty decent - size, price and silicone hoses included - I'm just waiting on a reply from the seller to see whether it'll fit the Polo!

I'll get a quote on postage too and let you guys know what the final price and fitting details are.

      • Is the brand any good?
If not, it's just an eBay intercooler kit and may be junk

        • Hmmm. If we can get more info then we can make a decision from there

            • I've not heard of the brand before either, but their website stock's LSD's for all VAG brands as well as intercoolers for the Scirocco. They seem better than generic ebay intercoolers but for a whole kit which is less that half the price of a forge - maybe it's really not that bad? I might just bite the bullet if they say it'll fit!

              • Check whether the intercooler inlet is connected to existing inlet pipe on the left side of the engine. Otherwise, I can foresee quite a bit of customizing jobs to be done to get it fit....

                • How is that intercooler in the link going to work, the throttle body is on the other sides compared to out cars.
The intercooler needs to enter and exit on the drivers side

                  • Woops - how did I not even know that? I was wondering why the Seat one had both holes on the one side. I'll begin my search again.

Not necessarily for both to be on the driver's side if they provide link extensions from turbo to the intercooler on the other side. But the thing is I'm afraid it'll induce more lags due to longer route.

I dont think most people on here are prepared to do a custom job, they are after something simple.
If people want to play around with piping, I say put the biggers dam core in there you can and make up some piping lol

                        • the piping must be as short as possible, otherwise, like said above, the route it makes will be to lang and it will get more laggy.
inlet on 1 side and outlet on other is possible, but custom piping will be needed, wich is not that hard to do.
but why would you put exit and entry on the other side, than just put a forge, APR or seat one:s
