yeah, Forge i not as good as you might think, specially with a upgraded turbo they will fail.
do you got any idea wich Frankenturbo hybrid you are running, F4 or F23 version?
I am running the F4 on the standard manifold for now, as they sent me the wrong one, Right one is coming soon, but wasnt really pleased with the quality of the one they sent me.
I know I can make good power, car feels strong, might think about getting the JBS manifold, where do i stop lol
F4 is a K03s hybrid turbo, not a K04.
same one as my friend has.
he does have used the manifold they send from frankenturbo. diddn't see it myself but he was pleased...
wait a bit till you get the right one, maybe that one is better in quality?
good manifold and good intercooler with good mapping and you'll be having a rocket my friend

also started this thread to see what other options people have done and over the weekend been thinking, has many people changed there mufflers< the polo gti exhaust system is great for a standard system but i just want somenice sounding tone to go with it< muffler ideas, brands???
Biggest restriction in the exhaust if dump pipe and Cat.
Custom exhaust or import from UK for full system.

ive talked to one of my mechanic mates, and there into the drag scene and i got them to search my car for what will be good and they said dump pipe wouldnet really do anything for my car, how come?? or is this just bad advise??

Do your mates tune a lot of Polo's? A front mount and dump pipe are acknowledged the world over, as being the next step after a Phase/Stage 1 flash. Which is why all recognised tuners have software specifically written for cars with DPs fitted.

I bought a nice after market hand made Maf housing, off ebay lol, guy in the states makes them, and yes I got a Black TIP, which is different to the polo one. I had to cut the new TIP up and also cut up my forge one, so it ends up being 3/4 Forge and 1/4 Frankenturbo TIP

Exhaust was my 2nd favourite mod after the tune. More torquey and much more noisy.
