  • Forge spring - can give you possibly extra boost if you were losing. However, changing the wheels - will always give different outputs, and it doesn't mean that your engine power is increased. It will be more representable by having the same wheels with same width tyres (ideally same tyres with same weight) at dyno. Congrats anyways!

    • Peak boost was increased by 3 PSI as per the graph and the tyres are the same as last dyno just lighter rims. Thanks mate.

Yep and at the wheels. no matter what thats at the wheels, thats why your esp is flashing its nut off hahahaha and if you drove the car as MANY have now your butt dyno will surely tell you its quite a thing. . And yep 3 psi is correct , i was sitting in the car whilst it was on the rollers logging. Hey Ant sorry about the schedule as im sure i could have pulled more timimg mate, in fact positive, when the car was being held on the torque it was registering absolutely no timing pull so i think 4 maybe 5 degrees, that would have cracked the 190 im sure. Next time mate and on the Ko3, oh and i just serviced this vehicle a week prior and recall the exact same tyres only light rims.

        • I recently bought Van's Enki's, much lighter than the TT rims I was running.

16pounds vs 25 pounds per rim, think the rubber is lighter as well...

          Makes a difference.

          • Light wheels make huge difference - I am thinking of going to Enkei 16" x 7, ET 35 wheels second hand... and paint in black

            • true, lightweight wheels does do alot.
rotation mass is lower, it's kinda the same as putting a lighter flywheel

              • Hey guys its been while but I'm happy to say the Devil thread is being resurrected. Starting with some cosmetic surgery booked in for
tomorrow. I hope it all works out how I pictured it in my head.

                • Looking forward to your new updates.

About Enkei wheels you have - have you come up with a solution to make the ride more comfortable with different tyre combinations? I know you tried 215 and because of the stretch it wasn't nice to drive on. Have you tried 225 or other combinations like 225/45/17?

I am in a position to grab the same wheel as yours - with 225/45/17 at very good price - but not sure if I will be able to get a reasonable tyre combinations to get the ride reasonably comfortable. My alternative option is Porsche twists.

                  Thanks.

                  • Hey mate, well sort of. I still run the 215's atm but have just wound off the damper for the daily commute to work. Seems to be fine now, just have to be extra vidulant for pot holes and sunken man holes. You won't be disappointed with the Enkei's. Seriously quick take offs due to the light weight. Unlike the Twists which are the opposite from memory, very heavy.

                    • nice work. personally, i dont like the look of the enkei RPF1's that much (there are much prettier wheels out there) but that being said, anyone who knows me / has been for a drive with me knows that i dont give a ufck what something looks like as long as it's functional and betters the car in some way (hence why, even though i think they dont look that good, the RPF1 is still my ultimate wheel, if that makes sense).

nice work! im interested in the battery set up - i'll be needing a new battery soon enough. keep it coming

Just a friggin' shame that the 15" (4.5kg) version doesn't come in 5/100, only 4/100
I'm tempted to ask if they can import undrilled ones so I can get them machined here to fit. I reckon they look just fine (they're round)

you know, i dont mind the fact that we'd likely have to get 16'' wheels if we wanted to rock the rpf1's, but dammit, 15x7 for our cars would look friggin SWEET - nice and light, small, cheaper tyres, not to mention nice fat 205/50 rubber that would make the car look tough (dammit, there i go talking about looks now... but if you can have it, why not?)

do you reckon undrilled ones would be like a lamborghini gallardo variant? as in, they do less work to the final product (no stereo, air con, seat adjustability, trim etc etc) but you still have to pay more?

And the way Porsche prices the Boxter Spyder! - almost certainly
