From the start I had a goal of doubling the stock factory output with not going too silly and keeping it reliable and streetable at the same time. On the JBS website (which is apparently the same owner as Custom Code) they state 300hp for all the same mods as me, tuned with Custom Code phase III. I know that more than likely their talking flywheel HP but still it should be close to double the stock output with any luck! 200kw atw would be awesome but I don't have my heart set on it.Last edited by VWindahouse; 05-09-2009, 11:12 AM.

Congrats on the upgrades Anthony looking forward to seeing a dyno graph from this when it is finished.
I was looking at the JBS site and it appears that they do a "Plautos" to a K03. They put the innards from a K04 into the K03. I guess this is not the K04-001 innards but more like the ones Plautos used. This is the kit that gives 300bhp -

It would be 2200 quid as there's no VAT to pay.
You are getting new injectors, S3 fuel pump, MAF and housing plus a manifold.
But there's one for sale here......

I ended up just getting the straight forward K04-001 because I got a really good price for a new one on ebay. Please keep in mind I have been buying bits and pieces over time that I have had to budget for and usually looked to the USA for them as well because our dollar is stronger. Back up to 86c today infact.
Also quick update, I will have a new type of TBD which will be in transit very soonAnd Jimmy has my new manifold and Turbo bolts ATM and is devising a permanent fix to the loosening problem!

Well it seems the Wavetrac TBD I was going to go with doesn't cater for the later model MK4 Golfs, so Peloquin it is. Should have ordered by the end of the month unfortunately, just waiting for the seller to get it in stock. So looks like I will get the turbo, manifold (which is getting HPC coated ATM)injectors, MAF, FPR and pump put in first then tune it all at the same time. Then get the TBD and clutch kit put in next to save some money.
