What wire on the loom does the acc wire on the adapter actually connect to?

I'll pull it out tomorrow to check, but it was just the one tagged as "acc" on the wiring harness adapter plug.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting

I was just wondering as i'm sure there wasn't an acc wire in the loom for the adapter to be able to have that wire. The CAN wires look like they are acc when you check them with a multimeter but they actually aren't so hopefully that's not what it connects to.

If you want to know the part number of the fascia kit I got, let me know. Took a bit of trimming to fit how I wanted but I'm very happy with it.

BTW, have you attempted to fit the Infinity's yet?
Thanks mate, but don't need the fascia kit now, am pretty happy with it, maybe when i upgrade my HU to double din dvd or something.

i haven't had a chance to try fitting the infinity's yet, hope it's a direct bolt on. im abit unsure about the tweeters in the original spot tho.....we let you know how i go.

Assuming you're talking about speakers in the front doors - they don't drop straight in. Have you checked mounting depth? I've got 2" Focal tweeters in the stock location no problems, so depending what size the Infinity's are you should be fine.

I have some photo's of a mates speakers/tweeters pre, during and post install in another Polo if you want for reference?

No prob's. Here are the few that I do have. Sorry for the quality!

Stock speaker has 4 rivets which need to be drilled out; mount the spacer checking for clearance on the door card; and away you go. Little bit of stuffing around, but no more than any other new car.

Didn't take any photo's of mine as it's the only thing I let the pro's do (as the speakers were up the top end of 3 figures). Took plenty of the rest though, as that was all done DIY.

Thanks again. Didn't get a chance to fit it this weekend, but will try next weekend.

Use a silastic or silicone product. That way it isn't permanent should you want to remove them for whatever reason. Pretty sure that's how mine were done as well.

I've ran the power cable for the sound system today (throught the passenger side kick panel to the left front guard into the engine bay)
Took some pictures also, let me know if anyone is interested, i can post them up here.
