However, to suggest that you take readings from somewhere else and then call them intake temps and use these for calculations etc is BS.

if the reading is taken from 3 feet in front of the car that means that sharkie's FMIC'd car and my stocko SMIC'd have the same intake temp, which definitely is not the case, especially after about 10mins of drive-time.

i do understand where seb is coming from by setting a 'level playing field' with temps for the dyno but as sharkie said, it shouldn't be used or called an intake temp, because its not.

Learn to ignore it kids. The reality here is that the OP can compare the modifications before and after they had taken place.

exactly what I am using the dyno for. Before and after. 90kw ate before. 131kw atw after. I didn't post my sheet to start this crap, I had an inclung it would happen but by not posting it I'm giving in. I was happy with the result and decided to share.

It's a great result, but now it's time to take it to the strip to get some times and terminal speeds!
