Unless I got it wrong, your dyno's 131.5 and the one just posted is 120.5, they're both CC tunes yes? If they are both CC, different mods or something??

For whatever it's worth, good on you for having the guts to go CC, 131.5kw with just tune is awesome (must be highest figure so far??), well done for daring to be different

Shanes is Custom code and Jons is APR mate. Hardly daring Custom code are up there with the rest , have a look at Uk sites and that will soon change your mind.

Ahhhh ok. No the one jon posted was his APR tune. I asked to post so I can see afr plot and power curve. The only mods I have is seat intake.K&N filter and forge tip.

Shaneth does have intake mods if I'm not mistaken, not that they'd make a huge difference. Jon may even have some of them if I remember correctly too.

Oh, and Shane's cool looking rotors are good for +20hp!

Yep, pretty much same as Shane except K&N filter (so TIP, DV & Seat intake).

Not fussed on anymore power, got other plans in mind.

there's little point, irrespective of which tune you have, the VW techs will pick up a re-map on their equipment.

I thought that was the point of APR / Revo / GIAC in that you can put the tune back to stock, hence making it undetect-able???

Vw cannot detect the remap never from any of the equipment i used there unless im missing something. Remember the remap is emulating the original program guys, so how can it be detected. Lets face it you wnat to switch it off to stop the hoons cowboying in your hard earnt.

Isn't it true they can find it if they go to reflash your ECU with the stock software - it will give a warning saying are you sure you want to write over it?
