    I'm just a wee bit afraid of Kumho's I don't know why...are they any good/reputable tyre performance/life?

Well im currently running KU31's, and they seem to be great, the reason i got them is i was looking on tyre reviews from the UK and u can select reviews for the exact tyre size u want, and for me (215/40/17) they were 4th, and that was based on a few thousand reviews

In the wet they are still pretty good, i wouldnt say amazing but OK

KU39s are probably the best reviewed tyre of the entire Kumho range. No they're not street legal semi slicks but they will fair quite well against several more expensive performance brand tyres.

Not only that but the 215/40R17 87Y also has an XL load rating.

Flagship tyre apparently. For $140 a corner it wouldn't hurt to give them a shot?...my Continentals are at its halfway point of its tyre life...

It's listed as a sport prestige tyre *Cofused*
I think he was trying to say they aren't like street-legal semi slicks in terms of their performance.

^^^^...off topic, but what's the deal with the Hulk look sig. Brad? Your Polo going through a metamorphism?

I'm using Federals 595 EVOs in 215/40/17 on a 17X7.5 ET35 rim. So far pretty good grip on twisties, a bit twitchy in the wet, but at $520 for the set fitted, they are not too bad. However, I might try another brand next time.

Looks like one of the members of Gorillaz

                  Anyone hear about these?

They seem to be from Falkens...I used to remember them as a good tyre..

Won't go into too much detail...but that image was created 12 years ago for my tshirt label. The recent color change from red holocaust to the current 'hulk' green represents...as you so perfectly put it...the metamorphosis my GTI is about undergo.

                    I'm saying no more.

Atypic, could it be that green in matt allover, complemented by black alloys and trims?

I had the older version of these (the rt-215?) on my old vs gts and they had ridiculous dry grip. Had trouble breaking traction with 500 rwhp, let me know what these are like once they are on. The tread looks great thats for sure.
