I've been informed that the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx range will be discontinued next month...so I think my car can handle a few months til these new boots show their face...and its about bloody time! the SP Sport Maxx has been out for way too long without an updated tread pattern/thickness rating.

Mate...I wish I can't find any stock! to me the Direzza Z1 is the Mecca of tyres....

Problem is I think its 83W? I need a minimum load of 87...

Advan AD08 215/40R17 would be my choice for PGTI.

bump for this thread for those who need tyres

Bridgestone Adrenalin RE002's are buy 3 get 4th one free at the moment which should mean you can get a set for around the $700-750 mark for 215/40/17.

Buy 3 tyres and get the 4th free

Might do the same. Anyone here running the Adrenalin Re002's on the PGTI and got any comments over stock ? Reading the info on Tyre Reviews they appear alot better than the Dunlops.

Either mid May or Early June Dunlop will cease production of the Dunlop Sport Maxx range, so far the RE-002 has great grip if the pressure and tyre temps are moderate what I like is the tread life I think the tread count is 300-320?

I'm tossing up beween federal 595 rs-r or the RE002. The RE002 by all reports is a phenominally good tyre, especially in the wet considering the tread patterns on the tyres. So, my choices now are RE002, Dirrezza z2 or RS-R.... Leaning toward RE002 because as Hail pointed out, the tread wear is meant to be bloody good for an ultra performance tyre. I've gotten 40,000kms out of my Sport Maxx's so if I can get that out of the RE002 then that would be great.

I just got it knocked down further upon payment $675 cash money

                                215/40r17 87W

got a free wheel alignment chucked in after my wheels were covered in tyre grease! (which is gone now as I just washed them).

that equates to $167.3 per tyre

Bit of bait for you guys to nibble on before you decide to jump on this incredible deal!
