so when are we boosting the trendline?

Haha hell yeah turbo the 1.4! I tend to find with my rear muffler delete it will only ever drone (and its a DROOOONNNEEE) bang on 2000rpm. Any other time it's good. Just means I have to push it faster to keep it away from 2k haha. The turbo does help to keep the sound down through most of the rev range, but at that 2k...

So what works best on the 1.4 Twin Charged GTI... for noise and go?

Apart from a 2 and 3/4 mandrel bent system.

              REAR Muffler delete

For increased noise and less restriction, middle muffler. For noise alone, rear muffler.

I'll update this with a video shortly. My GTI will be going under surgery for a rear delete too, but I'll have a flange made so I can swap between the delete pipe and OEM muffler.

My mid resonator has already been taken away, so it'll be interesting how loud this would be.

I friend of mine deleted both mufflers, but soon came out a warning light (EPC I guess...)

He came back immediately to rear muffler delete only.
Compared to mine GTI (I have no middle muffler) the sound is a little louder and overall the BANG when upshift is more noticeable...

                            Here's his rear direct escape

Doesn't sound too shabby for TSI owners...although it does drone a lot!

Just got a reply from ABT coincidentally and they said don't touch the resonator or do a muffler delete as part of the Centered exhaust kit is a short chamber to create a deeper tone...I knew it as my Brother usually hears me a block away going "Brrrrpppppphhhhttt" xD
