Just what ever you do don't do a mid resonator delete on the 1.2 TSI. I did this on mine and hated it and changed it back - and then did the rear delete . It doesn't make the exhaust note any louder or deeper except car sounds like its throwing up everywhere especially at idle. Only do the rear or nothing haha

Just got a reply from ABT coincidentally and they said don't touch the resonator or do a muffler delete as part of the Centered exhaust kit is a short chamber to create a deeper tone...I knew it as my Brother usually hears me a block away going "Brrrrpppppphhhhttt" xD
hmm I can't really agree there, my exhaust blurts a little but nowhere near loud enough to hear a block away? There is not really a "Brrrrpppppphhhhttt" coming from my car.. It's more a short (and not very loud either) "Pop"

Edit: more like this, minus the exhaust sound but purely the pop

Well, i think my trendline sounds pretty awesome with the rear delete! Farts and cracks are just addictive, ESP in tunnels and whatnot, ohhh its so loud!
Must do a comparison with the TSI to see if the turbo changes the note a lot

That's extremely weird seeing as we both have the same kit / setup...I get a distinct brrrrppphhhttt when shifting in D / sport.

Also how much throttle you supply effects the duration of the pop. Half throttle or above at 4000rpm above will give the longest bluuuuuurrrttt because the engine has to cut the ignition slightly longer (and you will notice the gear change will be quicker). If you baby the throttle you can barely hear it. Could just be the difference between your driving style

One or the other guys, one or the otheR!!! LOL!!

Damn so ricey, tinny haha not what I was expecting thats for sure!

So just like gavs said above, mid for a bit more noise and tiny bit more performance, and rear for more farting. Just make sure its one or the other, otherwise it'll sound terrible!!!

I've got a flange on my rear muffler, so I might just have the OEM resy put back in too, and put the rear delete back on! Decisions decisions!

Got a video of what it sounds like straight through Eddie?

Had no one around who was able to record it!!!

No stress, I'll bring the delete pipe at one of our future meets, so people can see how average a straight through OEM sounds like LOL!

I dont think its classified as ricey, tinny maybe. Far nicer in person

I'm really interested to hear (in greater detail, inside cabin too) what a rear only delete sounds like. I've only partially heard it here and there.

So far rear only deletes seem FAR better than just mids and 10000x better than both LOL!

I've been in Nuggos' 6R Polo with muffler delete and it sure doesn't sound tinny or ricey IMHO. His got a decent setup going on compared to the one in the video above that his exhaust crackles and pops. Reminds me of a Golf R!

After 2+ years of sporty driving in the car, in all driving conditions from fuel-efficient to sports mode and everything in between, I have never got the long fart. Not even with the tune and replacement K&N filter.

Still debating if I'm willing to spend €100 on a resonator delete and another 100 if I dont like it and have to change it back

its a shame. anyone with an aftermarket exhaust deserves a good note sounds like the only way to roll us with 1 muffler, and keeping the center muffler..
