REAR Muffler delete

John at DNA can send U the gear to read and flash ur car. I'm in Tas and he has no prob doing that. Just waiting for the DSG recall first so I don't have to get it done again after..

Got my rear muff delete done yesterday with a 3" rolled stainless angle tip.
Sounds great. Definitely NOT loud for anyone worries about it being to loud / annoying / attention seeking. Nice little note. Now to save for rego and a tune

Just got my rear muffler delete and I agree best mod I've made so far! Quick and simple with an awesome sound.

Sorry about resurrecting an old thread BUUTT. I've got a 1.4TSI 2013 Jetta. If I get my rear muffler deleted would u guys think it would make the same result? cheers

for the 1.4tsi, you'd want to do the middle resonator delete. thread for that is here >> Mid resonator delete

Please excuse me for bringing up this old thread. I'm thinking of doing the rear delete to my 1.2 TSI. What effects will it have on petrol consumption and anybody knows a good place to get the rear delete done in Melbourne? Cheers

short answer, no

In itself, no effect. Although it does sound great so you may be more inclined to drive harder, therefore using more fuel

Got the rear muffler delete done and installed a straight pipe over the weekend. I have to say the sound from this little car after the rear muffler delete is AMAZING! Love the DSG Fart! Costed about $120 for the rear muffler delete!

MC3386 I have a 1.2 tsi reckon it's worth the delete and yeah if you could tell us where to get it done it would be much appreciated
