Whats the technique to removing the tail lights? Any interior trim panels need to be removed?

In mine it was just a case of getting in behind the lights (li'l flap inside folds up) and ranking a thumbscrew counter-clockwise for what seemed to be forever

Excellent! Nice diy alex, I had a look in that little flap but couldn't figure out where the screws were. SMH! Haha

Yep your diy was very helpfull. If all goes to plan I should have some new smoked clear tails to ooh and ahh about next weekend

A few of us Polo boys meet the owner of Mars, two weeks ago said he ran out of the smoked ones so I'm unsure if yours would be delayed due to reordering of stock?

I got mine in a few days but he is in the same state as me.

@Fastlane, I just received my Mars tails. There's no red cover that needs to be removed for the reverse? Either they are producing them without it now of they pulled it out before shipping.

Got a quick question for you mate, whats doing with the reverse light? The instructions say to put in that little adapter thingy but do I need to buy a new globe for it?
