No tune.

No problems with they way i did mine either and so far, it's only th eone case of a bit of dodgyness. I have spoken privately with ATYPIC to try and find a remidy.

Is there a chance they have played around with an O2 sensor?

Haven't looked under the car just yet but is there a sensor near the resonator that needs to be taken off/put back on?

Well, after a week of having this done, I must say I'm feeling a little disheartened by the results. My car is very laggy and non-responsive especially in the lower gears. After my 3 week holiday I'm getting a tune and changing the plugs to see how things shape up...if the situation does not improve the resonator is going back on.

Sounds like you have an exhaust leak before the o2 sensor. Or an o2 sensor got knocked.. although this should bring up an error.

Check for an exhaust leak.. simple deletion of a resonator won't affect a/f ratios.

This is what I believe it could be...need to get under the car and also check the quality of the welding done. I won't get a chance to do that until the weekend.

Lambda probe is higher up. It depends on exactly where they have made the cut.

This is why I went with clamps and not welding

Mate, honestly it sounds exactly the same. The only difference is when there is load on the engine, i.e opened throttle.

Yeah as Gavs said the sound at cruise speeds is pretty much unchanged. Its more noticable on cold start up and has a nice meatier sound under load.
I've found the best way to get the DSG pop/fart is a full throttle shift at around 4/4500rpm. Did it in a tunnel the other day and sounded epic

There's another vid on my channel of a night run at the RNP. There's alot of road noise but sound gets better about 3 minutes in with the windows up.
