I hope so. The dealer suggested I go to ebay and buy one to install after I get the car.

Well I know of a Polo GTI with a Nov 11 build that scrapped in with the upgrades by one week, so yours should definitely have them being a Dec build Think dealership said it was week 45 that the upgrades were incorporated.

      You should have as standard
RCD 510 incl MDI and standard adaptor ( iPod adaptor is still extra cost)
      Comfort pack
bluetooth which I have been told is a seperate touch screen that sits in a port attached to the dash. You can answer and end calls from the steering wheel buttons, but not make calls from there, they are done through this small touch screen, it's a shame they couldn't have incorporated it all via the RCD510 touch screen

As far as a refund, best to ask your dealership.
Hope the car doesn't increase in price? There is a clause in the terms and conditions about this and we the customer are liable for that, again I guess it's at the dealerships discretion once the new price is confirmed.

We won't be getting any refund because of the discount we already got, plus a whole lot of stuff that has gone on with our order, so right now we are just relieved to even still have the order (along with a head full of grey hair and a ton of stress to boot) but back on track again now.

Our order is due to go into production on week 7 (week of 13th Feb) so I wanted to check if we would definitely have these upgrades and yes we definitely will.
We had already paid for audio upgrade incl MDI + iPod adptor, and comfort pack as additional extras at time of ordering, so our discount doesn't look so rosy now, pleased we didn't include Bluetooth, at least we get this thrown in.
Not long for your wait, good luck with it all.

Just got off the phone to my dealer re the updated range. There have been some price movements at the lower end of the range, but the GTI pricing has not changed (even with the inclusion of the upgraded audio & comfort pack). When I asked he said that I should get the price of these features back on my order. I didn't mention the discount I'm getting on the vehicle, so I'm wondering whether I will end up getting the value knocked off my order. Wait & see I guess.

My missus' 77TSI was built on the 2nd week of 2012 and it should be on the ship by now.

Had a quick chat with the dealer over email yesterday and he said that bluetooth and MDI is included in the car.

Not sure how true that is.. He didn't specify any more details. *fingers crossed*

Was the 66TDI always a 5 speed manual?

It will be interesting to see what SKoda will do for the Fabia range. The Fabia RS will have come to market either incredibly cheap (vs Polo GTI) or loaded like the HK market model (sunroof, contrast roof etc as standard)

hardly a problem. Most dealers have RCD510s laying around from Sat Nav upgrades. I was offered one on a Polo GTI deal for free. Would have been fitted at the dealership.

So according to the photos of this MY12.5 GTI, the Bluetooth System used for the new Polos will be the Touch Adapter Voice V2. Funny thing is, VW's german online store (below) says it shouldn't be used with the RCD510 or MFD+ both of which are standard with the GTI (Regular polo is another story). It even says not to put it in the Polo GTI...

Looks like I'll be replacing it with the 9WZ bluetooth system :\

Wow, that is the Bluetooth solution for all MY12.5 Polo's? Are they serious? Can it be removed?

                        That's a showstopper, right there.

Yeah I'll be getting a 9WZ unit asap. This is actually a re-branded Bury unit, depending on how it was installed (I'm assuming its actually fitted by the dealer or maybe even Patrick's instead of it being done at the factory), it should just be a case of taking out the radio unit, finding the box and removing it. I think I'll do a guide when I get my car

That is dealer fitted. You lose any functionality on the steeting wheel controls and MFD - Better to buy a 9w7 and get it fitted.
MY12.5 Candy White 5 door Polo GTI. Upgrades/Mods = RNS510 H LED, RVC camera, Auto Lights Dash Sound Actuator GTI button, Gavs Footrest(!)
WIP = Miltek Turboback Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, Red Stuff brake pads (Nov '13)

Technically you're not losing functionality, you're just not gaining it. Its a clunky one-size-fits-all solution due to the fact the Trendline and 77TSI don't have the RCD510 or MFD+ which, AFAIK, either is required for the 9W7 (or the better 9WZ) to function.
