Yeah, it's a bit all over the place. The dealer just called me to say the car is currently in Sydney being plated, then it gets put back on a truck on Monday (they think) to go back to Port Kembla, before getting put on another truck tobe delivered to the dealership. Then a day for "pre delivery".

So, I'm guessing another week or so. Wow......this whole process has been a genuine punish. If only they told the truth and not so many "un-truths" it wouldnt be so bad.

Anyway - looking forward to it actually happening.

Mine still hasn't appeared on the tracking site, but VIN numbers only about 500 before it are starting to appear, so hopefully soon.

What's the difference between the WVWZZZ6RZCY2*****'s the WVWZZZ6RZCY5*****'s that are being shipped out? Why the big difference in number ranges?

Is that jump in VIN perhaps due to the change to the new engine spec (ie different pistons/rings) that was mentioned a while back?

Hmm could be. In the tracking systems there are a total of 2025 and start from around mid last year. The 2's, there are only 437 and they seem to have only started last month.

EDIT: Found some 1's and 0's and they go back to mid last year as well. No 4's though. So again, I've got no idea why they're running two number ranges. 3dr and 5dr varients?

I thought the doors was part of the letter codes, but cant find the info on what each means, i expect someone will have a link tho...

Says that its the number sequence... I think you might be right that 3 and 5 doors are different production number ranges.

Nah cause mine a is 3dr with a 5 serial no.

You can see what engine you've got by getting the dealer the look at the extended information page on NADCON. It shows mine as a CAV engine.


If anyone with a 2 serial can look this up it should help solve the mystery

Mine is a #2 and is (hopefully when it turns up) a 3dr, so I guess it's not doors. Mine also shows CAV so it's not engine type either.

I went through Fremantle last night and the Fidelio was alongside - I think someone here has a car on board.

If anyone was getting their car unloaded in Fremantle, I hope they have better luck than me in getting it delivered. Mine was offloaded on 4 April and I am still waiting! Dealer said yesterday that I could pick it up Monday, 30/04. I am hoping my reply might encourage them to try a little harder!

Sadly from when it lands to being ready at the dealer is the hardest part to track as only your dealer can track it now. You should see your car go from "Discharged" to "Delivered From" (actually it should of happened by now, but I guess they're held up there.).

What exactly "Delivered From" means no one is really sure of. But our best guess is that it means it has passed through customs or compliance. Either way it'll be loaded on a truck and dispatched to the dealer a few days after, where they do all the delivery preparations.

Your dealer should be able to track it from now on the Patrick autocare site but they usually don't pass that info on.

I wouldn't worry, I've noticed it takes a while for the database to update and show 'delivered from' when I was checking out Mullos unusually long delivered from status. For instance mine is now in transit to the dealer and it's still showing as just 'Discharged'.

Sadly only the dealer can see whats going on from now on. If they're nice you can try and get them to send a screen cap of the patrick autocare page.

Sadly my dealership is just the same... useless... why is it i know more about my car than they do yet i pay them?! sadly today's dealers make real estate agents seem like good value...

Anyway, Im excited for Readerr0r to get his car... I need a 'mid wait' fix... pics pics and more pics will help ease my pain
