If the tracking sites shows GTI's loaded onto a ship (PLATINUM RAY) with VIN# below and above my number, but mine isn't showing still, should I be worried?

Probably not. Where are these other vins being off loaded....is it a different port to yours?
how many days ago did you receive your vin?
Mine was loaded 13 days after receiving my viin....

Aren't you the same person who was previously given the wrong vin #?
Maybe double check your current vin # with your dealership or ask them to check if the cars been loaded?

They're going to Brisbane, Port Kembla and Melbourne. Mine would get off at Port Kembla.

Sounds like you've already had your vin# a few weeks now then....if its not on the next ship leaving then its starting to sound like a while so time to call your dealer again, perhaps mention that vins all around yours have been already been loaded?

I am also looking forward to some pics....considering ‘shadow blue' is the Polo GTI's signature colour, yet no dealerships we went to ever had that colour, so still haven't seen it in the flesh

haha, well we are the only two people to recently order one it seems... I reckon we know something you other guys dont! Joking aside tho, I did see one (3dr too!) when the old press car WSC57X was being sold on at the dealer on Church St, Parramatta. It was listed on carsales as well. Sadly the idiots there wouldnt let us drive it, but we were allowed to sit in it... WTF?! dealers... hmm... :/

I must have been lucky that I got to test drive that exact same Polo GTI which sealed the deal for me.
Haha they are a funny bunch at Denlo. Still waiting on my GTI key ring that they had trouble getting cause they couldn't open the cabinet to it......

yep, muppets, thats the word for that crowd. I did explain that by not driving their used car I would not buy a new one, the salesgirl just shrugged like it was either of no consequence or that her hands were so tied she wasnt going to argue...

I once bought a TVR in the UK and had much the same discussion with the salesman about a TVR keyring made of a thick chunk of supple leather with TVR stamped in it... a snip at over 70quid! I did eventually get it for free, but it took a lot of visits and I was already known to them as Id had a few cars off them. LOL

I don't mind being the only shadow blue in a sea of white and black polos . But I will admit shadow blue needs to be 3dr and have xenons to look cool.

Don't fret about europe's colour choice btw, they only get a toffee brown and a red-orange metallic and I believe neither are available for the GTI.

Some more GTI just showed up on the tracker, loaded onto GRAND PEARL today, with VIN#s below and above mine. Two boats loaded in the past two days bound for Australia (one coming in via the east the other via the west). Wonder how they choose which go on each boat?

I wouldn't worry, I've noticed it takes a while for the database to update and show 'delivered from' when I was checking out Mullos unusually long delivered from status. For instance mine is now in transit to the dealer and it's still showing as just 'Discharged'.

Just checked my vin # in T&T, status is now showing delivered from (30/4)
As it was offloaded on 21/4, does this seem like a while and I assume it's been sitting dockside since the 21st?

Yeah I noticed the delivered from status was marked as the 26th, which was when it was on the truck to the dealer. Maybe delivered from has a new meaning now?

Finally! My GTI was loaded on the TUGELA on 03/05 and is due to hit Port Kembla on 15/06
