    • Plasti dipped my wheels a bronze/copper colour, stoked with how it turned out. Colour changes depending on the light.

How many KM have you done on your car. Could be that my shocks are going / gone. Maybe I should rephrase my terminology. I'm calling it botoming out but I'm not sure if that's accurate.

All I know is I go over a speed bump fine but after the bump the front goes down - it starts to slow an then quickly stops with a thump and heads back up. I don't think the car is actually hitting the floor - just the shocks are out of travel.

          ah, no

but you may get some tyre scrub if you're running wider wheels

Ive done 50 000km but had only had the springs on for about 5000km. I recommend getting them checked. Bridgestone fitted mine when i got new tyres put on. And I own a GTi, not sure what you have

Thanks Bud!! The mirrors are not Caps, Plasti Dip as well thought it would tie in better with the black door pillars.

                  • Nanolex Professional Paint Protection and Interior Protection done by Mr Detail here in SE Vic. Good guy with an eye for detail. Spotted a 1mm blemish on my rims fairly quickly. Offered to keep the car until the weather cleared up as it was raining during pick up.

Picked up some dust on the way home and gotta wait 72 hours before a wash, so pictures then.

                        Doesn't that represent "Deutschland"?

                            • Is it to represent the country of origin of the car, or the driver, or the car manufaturer's country though? (I never understood why some users on this forum would change the country flag to their birth, isn't it all meant to be .AU?)

Some users on this forum live in other countries and the flag on this website represents that.

Also I'm pretty sure the "D" or "A" or "NL" is to indicate the origin of where the car was regerstered within Europe. It was used so that people in other countries knew where you were originally from - in a time before the European Union when there were border inspections. Not used anymore though as the number plates show all the information
