So im in the middle, well 20 hours to go to buy a RCD510 head unit (BOSCH version) from ebay.. the same model that my dealer wanted almost 2k including install for ! WTF . moving on... as i currently have the RCD310 in my 13 polo 77tsi i wonder if anyone has done the swap specifically with these head units and if i need to go ahead and get the BT hardware to add to the RCD510.. or will my current BT hard wear be sufficient..Comment

What i did today was clean the garage up and got together my left over parts from the Polo. Check the sale thread if you want some cheap bits. It'll help me add to the "fix up the S4" funds

Tuesday saw the Polo in for it DSG recall. Yesterday was Auto light install and Auto wiper activation.... Today the wife says I want to drive your car now.....

You can get many replacements around if you look on eBay or Google. here's one I found with a quick search - It has chrome and only $49 excluding shipping
Chrome Rear View Mirror Switch (w/ Heat Function) - Polo 6R - Oriental Parts
Also removal of the switch is easy. All you have to do is remove the panel it sits in - that's it
