What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

Looks nice on those rims, the rears could use a spacer though

Sit's about the same height as mine, do you get much scrubbing in the front? What are the wheel specs?

Was actually looking at spacers yesterday for the rears
I had to put 5mm spacers on the front because the rims were scrubbing on the strut. As for tyre scrubbing I only got it when I was going full lock to the left downhill on a hairpin turn

Took the Polo down to Rob Bliss Exhausts in Brisbane, got myself a rear muffler delete done on my 77tsi. Loving it.
Here's a little vid of me giving it a rev; hope there's no art to revving cause I have no idea

Picked up my first car today, Pepper Grey 77tsi MY13.5 with the sports pack! Loving it already, such an amazing car! Got a few cosmetic mods lined up, so should be tonnes of fun. So stoked for my first car though, making countless burgers does make it worthwhile . [ATTACH=CONFIG]6881[/ATTACH]

Had my Weitec Hicon GT's installed today. Although I asked for an even drop the guys at a Pedders didn't do it but told me to let the springs settle and when I come back for my 1000km checkup we'll drop it evenly then.

Overall I'm very happy with the look and especially the handling and driving experience. No rubbing or scrubbing, car really sticks to the road and has a lot less body roll. Best of all the ride really isn't a lot stiffer than stock.

Wow those rims really suit the car. Love em!

Nah it's not that. It goes on for like 2 seconds after it's started without the key turned.

If it's anything like mine (and it sounds similar but I haven't really heard mine from the back, only the front) then it's the turbo waste-gate rattling.

It's annoying as, mostly does it after restarting the engine after a short run.

Sounds really metallic from the front of the engine. If you say your bros GTI is doing it though it may mean its something different. I'm not sure if the GTI's are using electronic waste-gates like the Polo but I'm pretty sure they aren't.

I noticed that in the new Golf 7 when the car is unlocked it primes the turbo actuator so that this noise doesn't occur - so they know about it, they just couldn't be bothered releasing an update.

Haha I see what he is doing! All you need is some standard issue plates, standard TSI grille and put the OEM "Polo" badge on the back and they will think its a Trendline - you will then have the best Trolling machine.

If you really wanted to make it look legit get some 14" black steelies haha
