        • U don't need to remove all those torque screws as shown above. U only need to take out two of them

          • What LD_Mart said. Two screws only, the rest hold the bracket that helps position the lights. When taking them out for the first time the clips on the bottom can be quite stubborn and I ended up skinning a finger a bit. But when you figure it out and have done it once its fine.

            • Just got my car back from the 34F6 recall - DSG oil replacement and software update. Must say the car 'feels' a bit smoother on take off. Use to have a bit of a kick when engaging 1st.

                • Installed my coilovers last long weekend but thought id give them a test drive before i uploaded some pics and gave review.

These coilovers are pretty awesome and i would highly recommend them to anyone who is willing to fork out the cash for coilovers. For me i didnt really need any performance out of them just wanted a nice ride height for my new rims. The only reason i picked up the coilovers was cause they were being sold 2nd hand and got an awesome price, only a couple 100 bucks more then brand new H&R Springs.
I have dealt with a few different types of coilovers in my past and i am quite impressed with these. Considering these don't have damper control i feel they have made a perfect happy medium between performance and all round driving. I personally thought the stock springs are way to soft and you can feel your self bouncing down the road after going over a speed bump. The ride is alot firmer but still comfortable for daily driving.
I took these for a ride through Galston Gorge and they give you so much trust in the car, so much less body roll.
I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a bit of both cosmetic and performance as they are great for both. I have definitely driven on better track coilovers then these but i never plan on going to the track so its all good for me but im sure these would hold up well for the person only doing 3-4 track days a year.

                  • Nice upgrade LD_mart, completely different feel with the coilovers hey. I noticed a big drop in body roll too when i put my KW's in.
Have you got any pics of the drop?

So much difference! So much better!
Interesting that the struts used on these are KW and only the springs are eibach.

Put my rims on yesterday which came in the mail on Thursday so here is a photo pretty happy with them. As u can see by my first photo of the coilovers I'm no where near being at the lowest setting and I think I might have to raise it a little.

                            • Looks nice on those rims, the rears could use a spacer though

Sit's about the same height as mine, do you get much scrubbing in the front? What are the wheel specs?

                              • Added some camo eye shadow to the headlights.

Not sure I like it yet because the gap between the bonnet and top of the headlight is accentuated moreso than before.
