If it has a DSG it did, I haven't received a letter in the mail but I checked my VIN number on the VW website which confirmed that it was under the recall and called up to book it in. The recall covers as far as I know all DQ200 DSG gearboxes made in 2013.

Just ticked over 10,000km on the weekend on a run up to Nelson Bay

3 years, 2 months of trouble free motoring

Now considering tints (darkest legal) and muffler delete (actually probably replace with straight through hot-dog type)

Anyone know of a reputable place in the inner-west for tints?

Picked up my first car today, Pepper Grey 77tsi MY13.5 with the sports pack! Loving it already, such an amazing car! Got a few cosmetic mods lined up, so should be tonnes of fun. So stoked for my first car though, making countless burgers does make it worthwhile .

I've driven my GTI almost 56,000km now and had every bit of recall done to it (you name it) with a few oil consumption issues to brag about... apart from that it's all standard albeit the mid-muffler delete which makes it stand out among all the other GTIs, and a collection of stone chips and bugs on the front hood from all the rural NZ driving - although am waiting for the 3-year warranty to cut off after Feb and then a list of things will be coming in such as the likes of cold air induction (y)

I've done exactly the same! Same kms but in 2 years... So I have another year of warranty until Jan 2015.

Same with recalls and getting a LOT fixed under warranty!

Just cut up some scrap red vinyl at work into strips and applied it.

I only had it black for a month before wrapping it so felt i wanted to see it black again. I can't imagine it staying this way for too long though

New Dectane tail lights went in yesterday. Wireing them up is easy enough to done once you work out how it works. And I don't even have a bulb out warning, bonus!!!

And thanks to Eddie (fastlane) for both selling them to me and the "instructions" to lead me through it.


So happy with the results.
