Probably just placebo. But the dsg fart and the sound when you hit the gas is awesome.

Lucas, How did all those filters compare with an equivalent surface area OEM paper filter? Until you have that as a baseline the other filters flow rates & filtering capacity can only be compared amongst themselves. ie: The K&N might filter the best but if that's 20% worse than an OEM paper filter then the decrease in filtering might be unacceptable to many people.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
