You can buy the iPhone cable from spare parts at any VW dealership, but if you want it cheaper, then eBay has tonnes of them. Also, remember that you can stream music via Bluetooth (which comes with the car) so maybe the cable isn't necessary. Although, you will get better sound quality via the cable and it charges your phone.

Finally picked up my Black GTi on Tuesday, after being screwed around by Barloworld for weeks, but other than them loving it! Wishing Sydney traffic wasn't the only place I have time to drive it currently though, ah well

Picked up my new 77TSI last night from the dealership. Absolutely loving the vehicle, though I won't be able to give it a good run in until the weekend. More than pleased with the decision I've made (especially the Sports and Comfort packs).

So ive had my polo gti for 3 weeks now, and tonight was the first time taking through the twisties and really testing the handling. Mind you i was cruising with the cars i use to cruise with when i had my older car, so all jap spec.. S15 and r34... Uphill i felt so confident, downhill, they car felt amazing to pull away from cars that have more than double my power. But i still have to get use to the quietness which kinda bored me as im quite use to the drone cabin sound of straight pipes on the modded silvia haha..

But over my rambling, the car is amazing.. Im a happy vw customer..

Got my new Polo GTI a few days ago in flash red with tint but no other extras, so far I'm loving it! Obviously it's too early to tell if I'm going to avoid the common issues but at least so far (80km in) the car tracks perfectly straight and the DSG is silky smooth, I'm really impressed with how well it handles stop-start driving. The cockpit just feels like a really nice place to be, looks nice and feels good, I like the grumble of the engine too. Currently just breaking it in, can't wait until that's done with so I can start to really put it through its paces.

wow. here i was thinking whether i should get a golf 110tdi or a mk6 gti, and your polo pics look bloody fantastic with the detroits. so much better than the denvers for sure.

Thanks! It certainly is eye catching on a sunny day I'll get some more photos sometime, perhaps some of the interior too which IMO is very pretty. Also came with RE050's!
